Tate- 3 months!

Our little Tate is now 3 months! I can't believe how fast the last months have gone.  Some favorite photos of our little Toots:

Tate continues to be our sweet, calm little boy.  He has started exercising his vocal chords a little more lately when he wants to tell us he's unhappy. But for the most part, he is very easy going and only cries when he's hungry or tired.  I'm not sure how much he weighs but his rolls are multiplying and it seems like he's a bit chunkier than Tucker was at this point.  He's not on a "schedule" per se. But he seems to eat, be awake and then sleep.  At least once a day he'll take a solid 2 hour nap (this is sometimes on the go, in the stroller, in the car seat or the front pack or sometimes in his crib).  Ideally he would do this during the afternoon when Tucker does, but I'm not always that lucky.  Other than that he takes lots of cat naps.  He still wakes up 1-2 times at night to eat but goes right back to sleep.  He loves to be held and would probably sleep all nice if I snuggled him. :)  He is a great eater and has takes a bottle well too which is a relief since I have to go back to school for the last week. He is so smiley and I can already tell he will be very social like his brother! 

Tate is 2 Months!

I can't even believe 2 months have already gone by! A friend told me once that the hours go slow but the days fly by- I totally agree. When I think back to when Tate was first born and my mom was with us, it feels like it was ages ago. But at the same time, I look at my little boy and can't believe how quickly he's changed and grown so much already!

Tucker loves Tate. He is usually very close to him and always trying to kiss or touch his face. :)

Tate's 2 month stats (Tucker's):

     Weight: 13 lbs. 9 oz. (76%)

     Height: 22 inches (11%)

     Head Circumference: 41.2 cm. (95%)

Tate's been a great baby so far. He's very easy going- I think it's a 2nd baby trait.  He just goes with the flow.  He sleeps great in his car seat which is great since we are usually on the go in the mornings.  I try to get him to nap in his crib during Tucker's nap time and on occasion I'm able to get the 2 down for a couple hours at the same time.  Other days, this isn't the case. But I don't really mind because then I get some alone time with each of the boys.  He's been stretching out his sleep at night and usually goes down around 7:30-8 and will sleep until 2:30-3 and then he's up every 2 hours after that.  Tucker was definitely sleeping through the night at this point, but it's ok. I think I had much more mental space and time to devote to getting Tucker on a "schedule."  It's just not as high of a priority because I figure he will eventually sleep through the night.  He's a chunky kid and he likes to eat, so I'm pretty sure that's why he wakes up. :)

 Everyone wants to know if the two look a like or are starting to look more alike as Tate gets bigger.  I think they look like brothers but definitely have their own looks.  It's fun to look at their monthly pictures side by side in the same clothes.
